Forest 2

It is the sequel to the 2014 video game The Forest, and was released via early access on February 23, 2023, for Microsoft Windows on Steam. Sons of the Forest's full release is scheduled for February 22, 2024.

Sons Of The Forest. If you liked the first game, IMO, you will love this one. Better visuals, quality of life improvements, lots of new gear, new story, new land to explore, new enemies. For me, it is a good time in a big way. I'd say more, but I'm about to start playing again even though I'm supposed to be working.

Sons of the Forest is not currently available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X | S, although it could be in the future.

It Doesn't Seem Necessary for Gamers to Play The Forest Before Sons of the Forest. Sons of the Forest has a new protagonist and a new plot, and the story does not appear connected to the previous game.

The game features two endings: If Eric activates the artifact, he causes the plane to crash and is implied to have found a sacrifice to revive Timmy. One year later, Eric and Timmy have apparently been rescued and are invited onto a talk show to promote Eric's book, which chronicles his experiences on the peninsula.
