The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a mid-range Android smartphone developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics. Running on the Samsung's Android 11-based One UI 3 software, the device was announced on March 19, 2019. It was released a month later in Europe on April 10, 2019.

The Samsung Galaxy A41 is a mid-range Android smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics as part of their 2020 A-series smartphone lineup. It was announced on 18 March 2020, and first released in Europe on 22 May 2020 as the successor to the Galaxy A40.

Unfortunately, the 2019 Galaxy A40, Galaxy A20, and Galaxy A10 now fall into the 4-year category so Samsung is ceasing their new Android version and security updates.

Despite being a budget phone it has a great screen (now protected with an LK protector kit, which I highly recommend), sound quality is good and camera seems excellent. Plenty of features and very easy to use. My first Samsung and I'm very happy with it so far.
