Monster hunter freedom

Monster Hunter Freedom is the first game in the Monster Hunter Portable/Freedom series for the PSP, content-wise, it is based on Monster Hunter G containing many of its features, but it is not a direct port of the game.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has more missions, equipment, and monsters than Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and a new Felyne fighter to help the player on their quests. Rarity 9 and 10 armor and weapons were added.

The first handheld installment in the Monster Hunter franchise, the game is an enhanced port of Monster Hunter G, rebalanced to allow for easier solo quest completion and game progression.

Marketed as a sequel to Monster Hunter Freedom, Freedom 2 is an original title that adapts the core content of Monster Hunter 2 into a new single player campaign, adding supplemental original content. An expanded version of the game, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, was released in North America on June 22, 2009.

i would say any 3rd gen game and after. anything older is where all the stereotypes of old world come from, 3rd gen still has issues but it's nowhere near as archaic feeling. i have to agree. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Generations are other games you can try, these are extremely fun titles to play.
