Start a Command Prompt window by selecting Run as administrator, and type verifier to open Driver Verifier Manager. Select Create standard settings (the default task), and select Next. You can also choose Create custom settings to select from predefined settings, or to select individual options.
If you encounter any driver problems, such as errors, crashes, or device malfunctions, you can try restarting your computer as this can resolve many driver issues. You can also access the Windows built-in troubleshooter from Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot to diagnose and fix common driver problems.
Disabling Driver Verifier is easy, and you can do so by following the steps below. Step 1: Type cmd in the search bar and click Run as Administrator under the Command Prompt app. Step 2: Type verifier /reset in the command line and press Enter.
To begin, open Command Prompt: press Windows key + R to open Run, input cmd, and click OK. Then, to run the report, type driverquery and press Enter. To get the information in a handy text file that you can refer to later, type driverquery > driver. txt.
There are a few ways to check for outdated or corrupt drivers on your PC. Use the Device Manager: The Device Manager is a built-in Windows tool that lists all of the hardware devices that are connected to your PC. You can use it to check the driver status for each device.
